چکیده
Abstract Dissipative optical solitons of particle-like structures can form soliton molecules with striking molecule-like interactions. However, the experimental investigation in ultrafast lasers is still largely confined to bound states only two and far from being explored for molecular complexes. Here, reconfigurable switching complexes originating binding soliton-pair was demonstrated around 2 μm, simultaneously opening an emerging window longer wavelength. The periodic dual-stability be resolved. Moreover, single multiple successively triggered by collision drifting or control over saturable absorption parameters. Further, consecutive reversible high fidelity verified pump modulation. These results unveil dynamical interaction motivate potential applications spectroscopy, information encoding, computations.

Raman soliton generation in microstructured tellurite fiber pumped by hybrid Erbium/Thulium fiber laser system
We demonstrate a fibre laser source generating ultrashort pulses tunable in the range 2-2.5 μm. The source is based on a hybrid Er/Tm fiber laser system and microstructured suspended-core tellurite fiber where Raman soliton shifting occurs. Nonlinear soliton dynamics is studied and possibility of tuning beyond 3 μm is shown.

Switchable thulium-doped fiber laser from polarization rotation vector to scalar soliton
We experimentally demonstrate switchable temporal soliton generation from a thulium-doped fiber laser (TDFL), using carbon nanotubes as the mode-locker. With the help of residual polarization dependent loss of a wavelength division multiplexer, a weak nonlinear polarization rotation (NPR) effect can be achieved within the laser cavity, which may provide joint contribution for passive mode-locki...
متن کاملThulium fiber laser lithotripsy using tapered fibers.
INTRODUCTION The Thulium fiber laser has recently been tested as a potential alternative to the Holmium:YAG laser for lithotripsy. This study explores use of a short taper for expanding the Thulium fiber laser beam at the distal tip of a small-core fiber. METHODS Thulium fiber laser radiation with a wavelength of 1,908 nm, 10 Hz pulse rate, 70 mJ pulse energy, and 1-millisecond pulse duration...
